All Because of Iron Man
Hi friends, how are you? It has been a long time since SMK Grafika Desa Putera was not providing news via the website. Even though it has been more than a year of teaching and learning activities from home, you are still enthusiastic, right?
So, what comes to your mind when you read Iron Man? Super hero? Wealthy? Avengers? Yep, you must be familiar with this rich hero. It turns out that Iron Man is not only a hero in films, but also an inspiration for many young people in Indonesia, Naira Ailsa is one of them. This tall guy from class X DGB has just won 3rd place in Creative Design Product in Budi Mulia Cup 2021. His creativity in making product designs deserves thumbs up. Naira chooses to design a cellphone or cellphone product because it is inspired by a cartoon Steven Universe and also features the hologram in the film Iron Man . . .
When asked about the design process, Naira answered about a week using the Adobe Illustrator application only. Starting from looking for ideas then designing to visualizing the product. According to him, the most difficult process was when designing, "Because I can't use the Adobe Illustrator application yet, I used to be curious about this application, so I wanted to try it and it turned out that I felt challenged to get to know this application more." explained Naira. If there is an event of a race like this in the future, Naira wants to try again. "Yes, I am happy to participate in this kind of competition, to improve skill and so that I can learn more about things that I don't know yet," he explained.
At first Naira was a little afraid to take part in this competition, but she ventured, "If at that time I didn't win it wouldn't be a problem, because I've been able to pass the race well and get new experiences," said Naira. But she also believed that efforts never let the results down, Naira didn't even think that she would win 3rd place.
Naira also ordered for friends who are still really afraid to try something because they don't understand or are afraid because they don't feel like they can, “Don't be afraid of being ridiculed for losing or because you can't or have already given up first. Because it's all because of our own negative thoughts that make us fall into the wrong path. At first it was really scary but just try it first. With the courage to try, you can be superior to others. So it's the same as you improve yourself, if you're afraid to try, when will you dare? When did it develop? Dare to face something you've never tried before because that's your challenge before success. "
